What's in your to-do list this week? Maybe fly to mars without any intention to come back? About 170 000 people are actually ready to do this. But not too soon. The MARS ONE company came up with the idea to settle Mars in 2023. And all these people have already applied for this mission.
The first trip in which only 4 people will take part will cost the Dutch company about 6 billion dollars. In 2015 24 best candidates will be chosen from hundreds of thousands from USA, Russia, China and other countries. They will be trained for 7 years before hitting the road.
And where Mars One takes the money for their ambitious mission to turn the Earthens into Martians? They will make the reality show out of it, which will have already been started on stage of preparing astronauts. And in 2016 the robots will be sent to build the first Martian city.
