Back in May, HTC had announced a new quad-core smartphone called the Desire 600. The mid-range Android smartphone has finally come to our shores and is available online on e-commerce websites for Rs 26,860.
Hardware specifications include a 4.5-inch Super LCD2 (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM. Other features include BoomSound dual speakers on the front similar to that of the One, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, 1.6-megapixel secondary camera, 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded using a microSD card and a 1,860mAh battery that can survive through up to 11 hours of talktime and over 500 hours of standby time.
Connectivity-wise the device features dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, and AGPS and on the software front, the device runs on Android Jelly Bean wrapped in HTC’s Sense 5 UI.
