Create Backup in Windows 8

This guide explains how to create back up of all data in windows8. It will be helpful to get all the data back in case of any unforeseen issues like harddisk crash,virus attack,etc. 

Step 1: Open control panel and select the Windows 7 File recovery option.

Step 2: Now click on set up backup option if you want to create a backup.

Step 3: Now you need to wait for few seconds while the windows backup utility starts.

Step 4: Now you need to select the location where you want to save the backup. You can save the backup on your local drives and later transfer it on other removable media like DVD or USB.You can even save the backup onan external hard drive or on network.

Step 5: After selecting the location click Next and you will get a prompt asking you " 

What do you want to back up?"

You have two options: Either let the windows choose the files which is also a recommended method or you can select the files yourself. After selecting the desired option click Next.

Step 6: If you chose the recommended method directly go to step 7 .

If chose the 2nd option and a new window will open asking you to Select the checkbox of the items that you want to include in the backup . Now select the desired files and click Next .

Step 7: Now click on Save settings and run backup button.

System will start creating the backup. Once the backup is complete you can use the backup to restore all your files whenever needed.
